Steve Acker is CEO of Clinton Street Capital Management and the head portfolio manager for Clinton Street Capital Partners Fund, LP.
is responsible for implementing the investment strategies in order to achieve the objective of the Partnership.

Prior to forming Clinton Street Capital Management in 2006, Steve spent 4 years with the First National Bank of Colorado as a Business Credit Analyst in the syndication group.
Steve then spent one year as a Financial Analyst at Hewlett Packard where he developed strong relationships with those who would become his earliest investors.
After leaving HP, Steve worked for Republic Financial Corporation (RFC) under the direction of Mr. Jim Dumler as an analyst in the strategic finance group.
time with the group, Steve
was instrumental in their debt acquisition of American Identity
, one of the largest global distributors of corporate branded merchandise.
Steve's analysis and initiative was vital to the success of the deal and netted RFC
a healthy profit.
In 2006, Steve founded Clinton Street Capital Management, LLC, as a proprietary management company that specializes in the quantitative and technical approach to investing in equities, futures and options.
Initially, Clinton Street was the General Partner to JDH Absolute Return Fund, LP of which Steve was head Portfolio Manager.
In 2010, Steve
parted from JDH to form his
own investment fund, Clinton Street Capital Partners Fund
Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Colorado and completed his dual Masters of Science in Finance and Computational Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.
Steve is a Level III candidate for the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and is Series 3, 7, and 65 certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
