Mr. Stephen Djaba is the Principal Consultant and Managing Partner of Geo-Tech Surveys Ltd.
He graduated from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science, School of Mines, Tarkwa.
has acquired GPS training from SOKKIA Co.
Ltd, SINGAPORE and SOUTH AFRICA on several GPS application.
has numerous certificates and undertaken several training programmes in Africa, Asia, Europe, The USA and the Middle East.
to established geodetic transformation parameters from WGS84 to Ghana National Grid in 1997.
Mr. Stephen Djaba is a qualified Engineer and Professional Licensed Land Surveyor of over 15 years experience.
Mr. Djaba is an expert in Geographical Positioning Systems and serves as a consultant to a number of firms undertaking GIS, Mapping and GPS related Surveys including, Ghana Highways, Feeder Roads, Tabcon Ltd, Rudan Eng., CTK Network, Geo Engineering, Abosso Gold, Tarkwa Mines, Bogoso Gold Ltd, Newmont Gold Mining, Town and Country Planning and Survey Department.
In collaboration with Swede survey and SIDA and other team of consultants assisted in developing a successful pilot Urban Management Land Information Systems (UMLIS) for the Accra Municipal Assembly (AMA).
He was also a member of a team that took part in a United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) CODI-Geo meeting in Addis Ababa.
He worked with Ballast on some part of the Accra Water pipeline distribution.
He is also member of a team of consultants who undertook orhophoto mapping, Street naming and Photogrammetry Mapping projects in Abuja, Nigeria for the Federal Capital Development Authority.
was in charge of most of Offshore Surveys for Stone & Webster
at Takoradi Thermal Plant in 1998.
also champions the GPS Surveys for the Dualisation of Accra - Kumasi Road.
serves as a resource person for seminars and workshops focused on imparting knowledge on modern trends in survey and Mapping.
has full control of using Arc Map for creating Spatial Data Infrastructure database.
has also assisted as Geodetic Engineer and Road Engineer in creating the GIS database for the Department of feeder roads.
He was the Team Leader for the feeder roads inventory of the Survey for Department of Feeder roads in the Northern, Eastern, Ashanti and Western regions in Ghana.
holds membership in more the 20 local and international bodies worldwide.
He is the current General Secretary of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI-Greater Accra Region)
