Stephen Castel was born and raised in NYC and attended the University of Connecticut where he received his BSME degree in 1983.
He started his career as a Project Engineer for a well-known chemical company that produced consumer goods and was involved in industrial automation design and control. After several relocations within the company, he was promoted to Engineering Department Head and led a team of mechanical and electrical Engineers. In 1994 Stephen left this company and started TEC Automation, Inc. His past experiences enabled him to create a business that utilizes sound engineering principles and standards to create process and industrial solutions for a wide variety of manufacturers. Stephen is President and CEO of TEC Automation, Inc. He leads the technical team with high energy and takes pride in the quality and workmanship of the equipment produced, and is proud to say "Made In America".
