Stella's research interests span organisational and political Sociology.She
is increasingly interested in the relationship between broader institutional, political and discursive processes and the unconscious.Having recently returned from two years maternity leave, Stella is currently researching the cultural dimensions of the British Honours System and is finalising a journal article entitled ,The magic of the British Honours System in a globalising world'.Stella
is also aiming to publish a book on the subject.
...Since completing her Ph.D on Managerial Discourse and Local Authority Restructuring, from the University of Bristol (l995), Stella has written journal articles on masculinity and management, the feminisation of the management prerogative and their implications for employment identities and working relationships.
Over the years Stella
created the Corporate and Global Governance Research Unit (COGG) and arranged a high profile seminar series devoted to examining issues of governance.
