Rev. Stanley L. Walker, Sr. is the pastor of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist church in Tallahassee, FL.
is the father of five children, Sharon, Shaunte', Gloria, Shannon, and Stanley Jr.
Reverend Stanley Walker is a kind and humble man of God born in Greenville, South Carolina on November 27th by God fearing and loving Christian parents.
He graduated in 1972 from Benedict College with a Bachelors Degree and then went on to earn his Master of Divinity Degree from Morehouse School of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia.
CPE, Clinical Pastoral Education Certification in August of 1978.
Under Rev. Walker's
has grown to minister to thousands weekly, who attend mid-week bible study, Sunday morning worship services, and now twice a week on our Walk of Faith Television Ministry.
A member of various organizations, Reverend Walker
has received numerous awards and accolades.
Two of his
greatest attributes is a humble spirit and a grateful heart, and looks forward to the day when he
final reward from the Lord for a job well done.
One of the most notable, Rev. Stanley L. Walker, Sr. appointed and sent by God almost 30 years ago to lead Tabernacle into the 21st Century.
has grown tremendously over the years increasing from about 150 members to now over 3,000.
"I remember when it used to be difficult just to get a seat on Sunday morning.
You literally had to stand on the outside of the church during the 7:30am service and attend Sunday school to guarantee yourself a seat.
Pastor Walker humbly responded, "It's not about me!
It is simply the hand of God that is on this ministry.
