led the Charity Circle of the Kings Daughters, and during World War II volunteered with the Red Cross.She was a member of the Lakewood Garden Club, and was a formerly of the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
Survivors include a son, Rogers D. Cathey, Sr. and his wife, Connie of Norfolk; a Daughter-in-law, Miriam R. Cathey of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elasma D. Lally of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Rogers D. Cathey, Jr. and his wife, Debra and Constance Lee Cathey all of Virginia Beach, Stanley Robert Cathey, Jr.
and his wife, Patricia of Chesapeake; six great grandchildren, Rogers D. Cathey III and Taylor Fox Cathey of Virginia Beach, Charlotte, Joey, Sean, and Holly Cathey of Chesapeake; and a niece, Elizabeth J. Mathews and her husband, David and her son, William Low all of Cincinnati, Ohio.
