Stan Birchenough, NYSDOT Region 3 Resident Engineer, was on hand to receive the 2007 Hot Mix Asphalt Showcase Award at the annual NY Construction Materials banquet.
It was rather fitting that Mr. Birchenough was chosen to receive this award on behalf of the region because it was his forward thinking and willingness to try a new product in hopes of improving the region's roads. Stan Birchenough has always tried to be on the cutting edge of innovation in our industry and we believe that the residents of his region are well served by his efforts. We will continue to work with Stan and the rest of the NYSDOT, but for this day it was Stan who was deserving of all the praise and we are pleased to have played a part in the recognition of these efforts.
