Srini Raju Managing Director
Srini Raju is the co-founder of Peepul Capital. Prior to the launch of Fund I in 2000, Srini served as COO of Satyam Computer Services. He was also the founding CEO of Cognizant Technology Solutions Limited.

Srini spent his early professional years as an Investment Banker in Mumbai / Bangalore in SBI Capital Markets. He was one of the founding members of the Private Equity operations of CDC in India (now called ACTIS) and was a senior member of Intel Capital South Asia. Before joining Peepul, he was the head of Thomas Weisel India fund operations and Managing Director of Lightspeed Ventures India. Over the years, Srini has made, managed and played board roles at many companies including Subex, Lanco Kondapalli Power, BPL Cellular Holdings and Career Launcher.
With his end to end deal making experience - from deal creation, value enhancement and exits across multiple investment cycles, he nurtures a rare understanding of the Indian Private Equity ecosystem and a wide network of relationships.
Srini received an engineering degree from NIT, Surathkal and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Presently Mr. Srini Raju is the Managing Director and General Partner of Peepul Capital Advisors. Peepul Capital manages over USD 400 millions of Institutional and General Partners Capital across two funds. Peepul Capital Limited Partners (LP) include some of the most reputed international funds: IFC, Sovereign Funds, Pension Funds, Endowments and Global Business Family Offices.
