Eager to visualise the impact the company's support will have, Holland & Barrett's Group Director of Property, Gurdial Flora, met Sophie Churchill, Chief Executive of the National Forest Company, to explore The National Forest and see a newly planted woodland.
guided Gurdial through the developments at Hicks Lodge, near Ashby de la Zouch, to illustrate the positive effect of new woodland and maturing trees, and invited Gurdial to plant an oak tree.
commented on the difference that woodland and habitat creation makes to the wider environment and witnessed the benefits to people and wildlife.
