Sophia Schwartz, a former member of the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation's freestyle team, was named to the U.S. Ski Team's Olympic Development Team earlier this week.Ski team officials announced the 54-member freestyle team Tuesday at the organization's headquarters in Park City, Utah. Schwartz, a 17-year-old all-around competitor, currently attends Waterville Valley Academy in New Hampshire where she is a member of the Black and Blue Trail Jumpers.She was the 2006 Junior Olympic champion in halfpipe. In the current USSA freestyle rankings, Schwartz is #1 in the nation in halfpipe, #12 in dual moguls, #14 in aerials and #18 in moguls.
