- Simon CrossleySimon Crossley Vice President, SalesSimon Crossley joined EDGE in 1998 and serves as Director of Sales.Crossley manages EDGE's Distribution, Strategic Reseller, and NewerRAM sales divisions. Prior to becoming Director of Sales in 2000, Crossley held the position of Sales Manager and was heavily involved with the strategic relocation and subsequent expansion of EDGE's sales team to Dallas.He
was also pivotal in implementing EDGE's
successful channel-selling strategy. Crossley
plays a key role in the direction and tactical implementation of EDGE's
sales strategy.Working closely with EDGE's customer partners, he oversees the promotion and sale of the company's products within the channel.Crossley manages the EDGE sales team and its role in providing support, service, motivation, and innovative sales training to each customer partner's sales team.His responsibilities also include the management of channel inventory as well as the establishment of creative promotional sales programs.
Since graduating from the University of Oklahoma
in 1990, Crossley
has focused his
career on professional sales.He
has worked extensively as a corporate sales trainer and consultant, and also helped co-author a book, Smart Selling Techniques, with Bob Schultz.Crossley is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC).He
has been inducted into the NSMC
Million Dollar Circle three times and in 1995, Crossley
was recognized by the NSMC as regional "Salesperson of the Year."
Outside of work, Crossley
time with his
family, enjoying activities such as coaching his
sons' soccer teams.He
enjoys playing soccer, golf, and tennis.
