Sidney Deloch, an inmate who is 28 years into a life sentence, said faith-based programs also have made life better inside the prison. "This prison used to be one of the bloodiest in the country," said Deloch, a Baptist minister at Angola.
Sidney Deloch is serving a life sentence for aggravated rape.He has been at Angola for 25 years and became an inmate pastor after taking correspondence courses."When I came here it was a fast-moving, bloody prison," he said.
