About FCCLA - Region 7
Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State President, Shivani Dhir and FCCLA Region 7 Officer, both Houston County High students, assisted their adviser, Lynsey Singleton, in presenting a workshop at the 2013 National Cluster Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, November 22 - 24.
During the workshop, entitled, "Exceeding Membership Expectations," ideas and activities for increasing chapter membership were shared with FCCLA members from all over the country.
A line dance, the cotton-eyed Joe, was taught to the group as a way to get members up and actively involved.
