Sherri PattersonVice President As Vice President of GUARD Security Bank, Sherri fulfills a wide variety of managerial functions and specialized tasks.For GUARD Premium Finance Company, a subsidiary of the bank which provides short-term installment loans for the payment of commercial property/casualty insurance policies, Sherri seeks out and works with approved third-party outlets; trains new employees on proper procedures; assists staff in fulfilling day-to-day functions; and plays a role in strategic planning.For GUARD Security Bank, she co-coordinates daily transaction activities; assists in select marketing initiatives; works with executive staff on strategic planning; assists in formulating bugets and developing forecasts; and facilitates procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.Since GUARD Security Bank began as a de novo financial institution in 1999, Sherri has contributed her knowledge of the insurance and financial services industries to the bank's start-up operations.She formally assumed her present role in November of 2000, bringing almost two decades of experience to the position.Before joining GUARD Security Bank, Sherri worked in a variety of managerial capacities with the GUARD organization, affiliates, and related companies.In the late 1990's, she served as Sales and Customer Service Manager for GUARD Insurance Group, coordinating marketing functions among the agency sales force for the Workers' Compensation insurer.During the mid-1990's, Sherri was a Vice President for Shoval Enterprises, providing specialized support for the diversified investment and financial services organization.From 1987 until 1994, she held high-level management positions for a retail bank partially owned by the founders of GUARD.During that tenure, she was the General Manager for a de novo premium finance company.
