Colorado International 4-H Youth Exchange delegate Shelley Bolesta from Larimer County spoke to students at Pioneer Elementary School Wednesday about her recent trip to Switzerland. Bolesta participated in the 4-H exchange program from June through December of 2004.Each year Colorado sends two or three people between 19 and 30 years of age to participate in a six-month international experience of living and working with several host families for about three weeks at a time.Bolesta stayed with six different families. Donna Graham/Special To The Times'Hello' four ways Pioneer School students hear Shelley Bolesta, former 4-H member from Larimer County, on Wednesday speak about her recent trip to Switzerland.Students shown here are learning how to say "hello" in four different languages, all spoken in Switzerland.Bolesta participated in the International 4-H Youth Exchange Program through Colorado State University Cooperative Extension.Bolesta is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in journalism and an interest in international studies and public relations.She is from Loveland and participated in 4-H for 10 years.
