Shavana Fineberg, PhD
Dr. Fineberg graduated with a BA in Psychology from Princeton University (Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude), and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with minors in Community Psychology, Drugs and Behavior and Multicultural Studies from UCLA.
She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Oregon, Colorado and Hawaii.
has been in private practice, along with many directorial, consulting, and clinical positions for over 30 years.
is trained in hypnotherapy, EMDR, and EFT, all specific techniques relevant to pain control.
doctoral work exploring the effectiveness of relaxation and imagery for self-healing and has lectured and taught on this topic in many settings.
She was a Staff Psychologist and then the Acting Director of the Pain Control Unit at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Los Angeles.
