Mental Health spokeswoman Sharon Yates said the board voted on July 7 to seek additional legal advice from a lawyer with specialized expertise.
"We've got a board that we answer to and a community that we answer to," she
said."We just want to make sure that we're doing the right thing."
said the cost of hiring a lawyer will not be determined until the firm's work is complete.She
would not say whether the Mental Health Center has discussed any specific costs with the firm.
