Sharon Leslie is a physical therapist specializing in Cancer Rehabilitation.
runs the Cancer Rehabilitation department at Palo Alto Medical Foundation
in Palo Alto, California working with women and men throughout their cancer journey to address the musculoskeletal and neurological side effects of cancer and its treatment.
lectures throughout the Bay Area about the importance of rethinking the paradigm of cancer care to not only involve a cure from cancer, but to also include a return to a healthy, sustainable, active lifestyle.
She is currently working on a research study in conjunction with colleagues in the Neuroscience Department to study the effects on cognitive and executive function skills in women receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer.
She received both her Masters in Physical Therapy and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis.
participated in Project Otzma directly after college, solidifying her
commitment to Israel.
After moving to the Bay Area, she had the privilege of serving as a member of the Wexner Heritage Program in 2003.

She has served on the board of the Israel Center in San Francisco, the founding advisory board for the Israel Cultural Connection, and is currently in her 6th year on the board of the Oshman Family JCC, now serving as Vice President.
Sharon's true passions come through the connection of health and food.

children and the community make a connection between what we grow and ingest and how that impacts our bodies, our environment and the land.
Sharon lives in Los Altos, California with her
husband Seth, her
three wonderful children, Zachary, Abigail, and Jonah, and their five chickens.
is slowly taking over every available space on their property and converting it into her
own urban organic farm.
