For the first time this year ...
For the first time this year Sharon Lacy decided to participate in the ride as a "Roadie".
She was a member of the bike parking crew, which meant that she saw the riders off at 6:00 AM every morning and greeted the riders as they arrived every afternoon at the next campsite.
Between departure and arrival she helped to break down, move and setup bike parking and then helped park over 2,200 bikes.
She said that it was exhausting but signed up to work as a Roadie for AIDS/LifeCycle 2016 even before the week ended.
has just completed the first phase of a three phase process to become an enrolled agent (EA).
An enrolled agent is a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.
Sharon's motivation is possibly a love of learning and a desire to better understand tax planning or may just be an excuse to attend continuing education classes.
expects to complete the three test process sometime in the fall.
