Toronto Star public editor Sharon Burnside nailed it today with her column on the challenges posed to traditional newspapers by new media such as blogs (Nothing to fear but fear itself).Her point, and I agree fully, is that the two realms compliment each other; that blogs, podcasts, and online discussions are natural extensions of the stories found on newsprint.Newspaper editors better get on board this runaway train or they'll be left in its dust.As Burnside writes:
