Shari Malone, President of Delta Gamma International
, as the Virginia Tech community more commonly knows her
, has been active in Fraternity and Sorority Life since her
initiation in the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Delta Gamma at Kent State University
in Kent, OH.
has served her
fraternity and others over the years sharing her
extensive knowledge and support of the Greek movement.
From 1989 through 2000 Shari
served the Virginia Tech Greek Community as the Coordinator of Greek Life where she
was chiefly responsible for advisement of the Panhellenic council
tenure, and more specifically under her
leadership, Greek Life at Tech grew in strength and a number of traditions that are alive today.
Shari retired during the summer of 2004 from her position as the Student Programs Coordinator in Alumni Affairs.
Delta Rho most recently had the honor of hosting Shari as our guest speaker at our Founders Day in 2004, where she shared not only many of her own Delta Gamma memories, but also instilled a true sense of what it truly means to be a Delta Gamma in our sisters.
