INTERNET AD TECHNOLOGY VETERAN CHOOSES ZEDO TO RE-ENTER THE SPACE, AMID SIGNS OF UPTURN San Francisco, Calif. - June 5, 2002 - ZEDO, Inc., the leading Third Generation Ad Serving Company announced today that Shan Franklin has joined the ZEDO team as Vice President of Sales.
Shan Franklin VP Business Development Shan is an established veteran in online advertising with over 20 years experience working on the publisher side of online media. Prior to joining Azigo Shan was a business development consultant in the online media industry acquiring publisher partners and providing network development strategies for vertical ad networks. Before that Shan was the VP of Media Development for Adify where he was recruited by the founders to monetize the publisher side of the business. Before Adify, Shan was the VP of Sales for ZEDO where he led sales of their new ad serving technology for networks and publishers. He helped reposition the company's marketing strategy to better sell its ad serving platform. Shan also provided the framework for ZEDO's ad network, ZAN. Prior to ZEDO, Shan was Director of Business Development at AdFlight where he worked on business strategy. Shan ran sales teams selling to both advertisers and publishers. Flycast went public at a $500 million valuation and was later sold for $2.3 billion. Before Flycast, Shan was a Developer Programs Manager at Macromedia and an Art Director at Industrial Light and Magic. Shan holds an M.A. in Product Design and a B.A. in Business Economics from UCSB.
