Seth Dearmin, Associate
has worked on a variety of public affairs and political efforts in North Carolina in areas as wide ranging as health care, education, and environmental protection.
Prior to joining Nexus Strategies, Dearmin worked at the North Carolina Department of Justice in the office of Attorney General Roy Cooper, serving as a liaison to the General Assembly, developing policy proposals, and assisting North Carolinians in resolving consumer protection issues.
In addition, Dearmin has worked for the University of North Carolina system, working for then-President Erskine Bowles on economic development, legislative, and policy issues.
time with the system, he
helped formulate a new long-range plan, known as the University of North Carolina Tomorrow Initiative
Dearmin is active in the community where he currently serves on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle and as an advisor to the Boy Scouts of America.
In addition, he
volunteers time at his
alma mater as a member of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Student Affair's Advisory Board
and as the co-chair of the Triangle Young Alumni Council
through the University's Development Office.
Seth Dearmin received a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
During his time at UNC, he served as student body president and as a member of the University's board of trustees.
