Sean Malley - Senior Coach
swam for the Campolindo Cabana Club
since the age of six.
has records in relays and individual records in the 15-18 butterfly and backstroke.
As a high school swim Sean
was an All American in the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke and placed in the top ten all time for Campolindo High School
helping the team win NCS every year.
completed a year at the Santa Rosa Junior College
to swim and will transfer after the year is over.
Coaching since the 7th grade, this summer will be his
8th year coaching the Cabana Club
looks forward to having another great season this year working with the younger swimmers and as a senior coach.

Jr. Coach Sean Malley
has been swimming for Campo Cabana since the age of six.
is a freshman at Campolindo High School
In addition to swimming, Sean
likes to play lots of other sports such as basketball and football.
greatly enjoyed being a junior coach last summer and is looking forward to having another great season this year working with the younger swimmers.

We are excited to have 2 fabulous returnees with Sean Malley as Head Coach and Christina (Risso) Larson as Aquatics Director, and a new addition to the team with Chris Gousios as Assistant Head Coach.

Sean was assistant coach for 2011 and 2012, senior coach for 2009 and 2010, and junior coach from 2004 - 2008.
we have a strong history of not only a great swim team but also building great coaches.
We are so excited that Sean is going to continue this tradition of our CCC coaching style, building and improving on the current CCC culture, and continuing to grow the skills of the team after working with Matt for the last two years as Assistant Coach.
has a passion for swimming and has demonstrated over the years as a coach and swimmer strong leadership qualities and the keys to success (as shown by his
many awards and recognitions).
has been an OMPA
and County champion in both relays and individual events.
At Campolindo High School
swam varsity for 3 seasons and in his
senior year became an All American in the medley relay and 100 yard butterfly and 100 yard backstroke.
After spending a year at the University of Oregon, he missed swimming and returned to California to swim for Santa Rosa Junior College.
As a freshman he
broke the school and conference record in the 100 yard backstroke and his
200 yard relay team broke the state record.
At Santa Rosa, Sean was elected the swim team captain and the team went on to win its first state championship in Men's Swimming and Diving history.
All 4 relay teams Sean
swam on that year came in second in the nation.
is currently searching for a school to pursue academics and swimming for the upcoming year.
As a coach Sean believes in strong technical focus and being competitive while still realizing that recreational swimming should be a fun and enjoyable experience.
We believe his
story is impressive and we feel very fortunate to have him leading our team for the coming season.

Team captain Sean Malley said, "It was a little nerve racking because it was so hot on the Grapevine and being a swimmer, keeping up your energy is very important and I didn't want myself or my teammates to be drained from the heat."
Despite the one hour detour and watching other schools drive by, the Bear Cubs finally got into the water at East Las Angeles College Swim Stadium for the CCCAA Men
and Women's Swim and Dive State Championships.
