We are excited to have 2 fabulous returnees with Sean Malley as Head Coach and Christina (Risso) Larson as Aquatics Director, and a new addition to the team with Chris Gousios as Assistant Head Coach.

Many of you know Sean from his 10 years of coaching at CCC and his 17 years of swimming at CCC. Sean was assistant coach for 2011 and 2012, senior coach for 2009 and 2010, and junior coach from 2004 - 2008. At CCC we have a strong history of not only a great swim team but also building great coaches. We are so excited that Sean is going to continue this tradition of our CCC coaching style, building and improving on the current CCC culture, and continuing to grow the skills of the team after working with Matt for the last two years as Assistant Coach.
Sean has a passion for swimming and has demonstrated over the years as a coach and swimmer strong leadership qualities and the keys to success (as shown by his many awards and recognitions). Sean has been an OMPA and County champion in both relays and individual events. At Campolindo High School, Sean swam varsity for 3 seasons and in his senior year became an All American in the medley relay and 100 yard butterfly and 100 yard backstroke. After spending a year at the University of Oregon, he missed swimming and returned to California to swim for Santa Rosa Junior College. As a freshman he broke the school and conference record in the 100 yard backstroke and his 200 yard relay team broke the state record. At Santa Rosa, Sean was elected the swim team captain and the team went on to win its first state championship in Men's Swimming and Diving history. All 4 relay teams Sean swam on that year came in second in the nation. Sean is currently searching for a school to pursue academics and swimming for the upcoming year. As a coach Sean believes in strong technical focus and being competitive while still realizing that recreational swimming should be a fun and enjoyable experience. We believe his story is impressive and we feel very fortunate to have him leading our team for the coming season.
As Head Coach Sean will be working with the assistant head coach and the other coaches to:
