The owner, Sean Lynch, sent an email out to those on its mailing list on Monday, a day it is normally closed, announcing the closure but giving no reason for it. The note also thanked customers for their patronage.
Inside Wednesday, the 3,800-square-foot space was virtually empty, save for a few beer kegs and some cleaning supplies. There was no sign on the door and the phone was set to "fax" mode, although the website was still functioning.
Lynch opened Front Range Indoor Golf & Tap in December as a combination traditional bar and indoor golf center.

This meditation is a good one to use for many occasions, but particularly good for events with a goal or time line as it creates a container for things to happen, or change.  It can be both a spark and catalyst to support possibilities as they turn into realities.

Sean Lynch St. Patrick’s Day Resolution  January 1st? or March 17th? As we rapidly approach the end of January 2008(can you believe it?) I am making the same observations I make every year.  The Gym is packed, you have to wait to get on the weights and forget about your favorite treadmill.  The health food store can’t keep the latest vitamins and diet products on their shelves.  Goal sheets and business plans are still out on desks and even getting checked off. What I see next, is that by Valentine’s Day, just two short weeks away, all of the above is gone.  The gym is nice and open except for the “true†regulars.  The pills and potions are collecting dust on bed stands and goal sheets are tucked tightly in binders or locked in computer files. Solution to this stagnant cycle?  Join me in making your St. Patrick’s Day Resolutions.  It’s not too late for 2008 and you can then use this model from here on out. (Look out 2009 and the year of the Space Odyssey 2010).  Do whatever it takes and stick to your guns until at least March 17th.  At this point, the progressive and supportive actions have become the rule rather than the exception.  At this point, you have shown that you can change and transform your body at up to 2 pounds a month, that’s 6 pounds in three months, 36 for the year.  Those supplements, well hey, don’t start with 10 bottles, get some professional advice on what one or two would most help support a healthier you.  By March you will have been through a full bottle and felt the improved rest, digestion, energy, concentration that it is designed to help.  Lastly and more importantly, those goals will be in motion by March 17th, creating success at work and at home.  Little ones to build on daily and big ones to launch you dreams upon.  See you on the big green day with the luck of the Irish. All the best,

I was recently reading in Inc. Magazine about how Enterprise Rent A Car is going to offer Carbon Offset Credits for a fee to those who rent from them.  Carbon Offset Credits, an idea I had never heard of, is basically a way that you pay to plant trees, build recycling plants, filter water etc in an amount that equals the pollution you create by driving a gas car, or leaving your computer running all the time.  This is sort of an absolution for pollution concept, one that is at least part of a solution rather than the problem. So, how can this concept help my waistline?  You should look for ways to earn Calorie Offset Credits.  You keep track of how much pollution you put into your body, i.e. food and beverage and figure out how much moving around you need to do to offset it.  It a modern spin on the idea that no miracle weight loss program exists other than burning more calories than you take in until your body must feed on itself.  Now, starvation and cholera are all effective ways of loosing weight (I heard that on Satellite radio but don’t’ remember the speakers name) but don’t really leave you with a healthy sustainable body. Like saving the planet you want to offset the carbon with trees and sustainable healthy stuff.  Your body is no different, you should pick exercise that is fun, brings you some joy or satisfaction.  Walking is great, riding a bike probably even better.  The more you can use the big calorie burners, the legs, hips and buttocks, the more “Credit†you get.  There is a class called Nia, Google this to find a teacher near you, that is a ton of fun.  It is a fusion of dance, yoga, tai chi and shaking your tail feather.  I find it safe for most folks in that the instructor can show or encourage modifying the movements for your current ability.  Remember its great to burn those calories, but we don’t want to damage the body at that expense.  Calories we can get more of, bones and joint “credits†are harder to earn. So, kill two birds with one stone, earn your own Carbon Offset credits by planting a tree, then count the walking, lifting and shoveling as Calorie Offset credits to trim that waistline. Always consult your healthcare provider or Ask Dr. Lynch prior to implementing any advice for your health or wellbeing so that your individual needs are safely met. Until next time….all the best, Dr. Lynch   http://podcast.askdrlynch.com/2008/01/22/how-can-carbon-offset-credits-help-my-waistline.aspx#Comments 76c4a402-8199-49f6-a786-ec66aa5d1b3b Tue, 22 Jan 2008 18:37:00 GMT Kickball....A Key to your Health? http://podcast.askdrlynch.com/2008/01/13/kickballa-key-to-your-health.aspx?ref=rss Sean Lynch Kickball…..

Sean Lynch I have recently seen a rash of patients with problems they either have never had or haven't had in years.  It is not all the same problem either, it ranges from bad backs, to increased allergy problems, to poor sleep or aching joints.  The bottom line is folks are not getting enough good old water in this hot, hot summer.  Even my good water drinkers, of which I count myself, are just a bit behind and suffering the consequences.  Get off the symptom train and take the cheap easy step to wellness, DRINK MORE PLAIN WATER.

Steps to making it easy:

1. Keep a bottle in your car, at your desk, near where you watch TV and on your nightstand

2. Don't be so uptight as to not just stick your head under the ol' tap at the sink(St. Louis water was just voted best tasting city water in the US)

3. Start by drinking the same amount of water as you do any other liquid, then start substituting water for the coffee, tea and soda.

Give yourself a conscious 2 week effort with this it will become a lifestyle choice verses a chore.  You will feel better, move more easily, sleep more soundly and have less "mysterious" symptoms with your well being.

As always, please check with Dr. Lynch or your other personal physician on how to integrate this advice into your daily routine and to meet your individual health concerns.

all the best
