HICKORY, NC - Former Hickory High School boys basketball coach Shawn Johnson is expected to appear in court today on another charge of indecent liberties with a student.
On Monday, a grand jury handed up an indictment on Johnson, 38, for felony indecent liberties with another student.
That brings the number of students the former basketball coach and teacher is accused of having some type of inappropriate contact with to four.
was served with the indictment Wednesday and is still in the Catawba County jail, with the latest charge adding a $10,000 secured bond on top of previous bonds for $300,000 and $100,000.
The charge this week doesn't give the age of the latest victim but does say it was a student at Hickory High School
was also previously charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with one victim and four counts of indecent liberties with a second victim.
All five charges are Class I felonies and each carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison if Johnson
was arrested on July 26 and charged with four counts of statutory rape and one count of sex offense by a teacher.
All five charges come from one girl, who was a 14-year-old student when Johnson allegedly began having intimate relations with her.

Each of the statutory rape charges carries a maximum penalty of life in prison if Johnson
