Sean Dague has been an avid Linux and open source user for a decade. He managed to sneak Linux into the infrastructure for the Sydney 2000 Olympic games, and joined IBM's Linux Technology Center shortly after it's creation in 2001. He's worked on numerous open source projects over the years in the LTC, including SystemImager, OpenHPI, Xen, OpenSim, and the NFS Ganesha project. Sean is currently leading IBM's Open Source efforts with OpenStack. He created the Mid Hudson Linux Users Group in 2003, and has been running a monthly Linux and Open Source lecture series there ever since. In his spare time he does a bit of hacking and publishing open source software in the general web, and Drupal communities.
