Scott Woronuik, Director

Mr. Woronuik was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Eaton Hydro Developers, an independent British Columbia power producer, which was acquired by ENMAX in early 2007. Mr. Woronuik graduated from the University of Saskatchewan and has over 20 years of energy industry experience in both government and industry. He started his career with Saskatchewan Power Corporation before joining the Alberta Government Petroleum Marketing Commission, and then the office of The Minister of Energy, before moving into the industry sector joining TransCanada PipeLines in Calgary in 1993. Mr. Woronuik then took on the role of the Chief Operating Officer with BP Canada Gas and Power in Calgary in 2000 before moving to BCTC in July 2003. He has held Board Appointments with the British Columbia Chamber of Commerce Policy Committee and the Canadian Energy Research Institute; been part of the Alberta Ministry of Energy Advisory Committee, the Board of Directors of Crossroads Exploration, an Advisory Committee appointment to Recipco Corporation for the past three years and a member of the National Roundtable on the Environment and Economys TaskForce for Northern Development and sustainable Aboriginal Communities.
