Transmission Corporation is proposing a 10-year, $3 billion transmission capital system upgrade.The plan includes a new 500 kV line from the Interior to the Lower Mainland and a 230 kV underwater cable from the Lower Mainland to Vancouver Island.B.C. taxpayers, during the past four decades, have invested about $4.5 billion into the transmission system, said Woronuik.
