Scott Teeple
Scott Teeple is a Professor of Music at University of Wisconsin-Madison. A teacher of conducting, Teeple conducts for both the concert band and wind ensemble, as well as Wisconsin's statewide high school honors band, Winds of Wisconsin, and the MATC Municipal Band. Previously, he has guest conducted and lead All-States in California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, the World Youth Wind Symphony at Interlochen, the American School in Singapore, and the IASAS Cultural Festival. Before his appointment at the University of Wisconsin, Teeple served on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, the University of Michigan (Teeple's alma mater), St. Clair County Community College, and Port Huron Northern High School; on the executive board of the Wisconsin Music Educators' Association; and on the Arts Alliance Executive Board. Currently, Teeple is treasurer of the Big Ten Band Director's Association, and member of the College Band Director's National Association, the Music Educator's National Conference, and the World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles.

Scott Teeple
Scott Teeple, Associate Professor of Music, conducts the wind ensemble, shares responsibilities with the concert band, and teaches undergraduate and graduate conducting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Through his interest in both music education and composition, Teeple continues to create programs that encourage the premier of works by young composers.His ensembles have initiated and participated in yearlong projects for music educators.During the school year, Teeple also conducts the UW sponsored Winds of Wisconsin, a premiere high school honor band comprised of students from across the state of Wisconsin.

Conducted by Scott Teeple, assistant professor of music, the performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Michelsen Hall of the Fine Arts Center as part of the Music Scholarship Series.
Admission to the concert is $5 for the general public, $3 for senior citizens, $2 for youth and free the day of the concert for students with a UW-SP ID. Tickets are available at the UW-SP Box Office in Room 103A of the University Center or by phone at 346-4100 or (800) 838-3378.Tickets also will be available at the door if the recital is not sold out in advance.
The Wind Ensemble includes UW-SP's finest wind and percussion players performing standard band and chamber wind repertoire.Both music majors and nonmajors are chosen by audition for the ensemble. The Concert Band performs a full symphonic repertoire and is open to music majors and nonmajors.
Teeple, director of bands at UW-SP, serves as a clinician and conductor for honors bands throughout the U.S. Before coming to UW-SP, he was assistant director of bands at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
