"Coach Scott" Ramsaur was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
He later moved to London, England to attend the American School in London for high school studies abroad.
has lead an extremely active life starting in his
early years when he
became involved in every team sport accessible to him.
Soccer, wrestling, football, and baseball were his
High school introduced him to the concept of "the student athlete", where he became varsity level soccer and rugby player, and held an honor role GPA.
He also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, and remains an active leader and coach to this day.
Coach Scott returned to America to attend The Colorado College in Colorado Springs where he also played division 3 soccer, and pursued a double major in English literature and Business Economics.
pursued a competitive karate career after college, and was ranked on a national level for 7 years.
After retiring from the competitive circuit, Scott
wife Deena, and opened his
own karate school in 1993, and has been teaching ever since.
has won national recognition for his
work in developing the "kids karate" curriculum, and has now decided to focus on a career in the public educational system.
He is currently pursuing his Masters in primary and secondary education, and has decided to come to Carbon Valley to share his innovative approach to physical education, character development, and goal setting.
