PASCAGOULA -- Scott McIlrath, chief investigator with the Jackson County District Attorneys Office, has been accepted to attend the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.
District Attorney Tony Lawrence nominated McIlrath. McIlrath, 50, has wanted to attend the prestigious academy since his father, Robert McIlrath, graduated from it in 1974. Scott McIlrath has received forensic computer training from various seminars all over the country, which has helped my office to understand and address the use of computers in criminal activity, Lawrence said. It is a really big honor, McIlrath said.
