Forum Studio Appoints Scott Lumsden as Principal Lumsden To Lead Firm's Technical Assistance Group CHICAGO (Feb. 25, 2013) - Forum Studio announces today the appointment of Scott Lumsden as principal. Lumsden will provide project and management leadership with key responsibilities in directing the firm's Technical Assistance Group (TAG). The appointment underscores Forum Studio's commitment to servicing each client and their unique design challenges with multi-disciplinary practices and integrated delivery. " Lumsden will provide project and management expertise as he joins the firm's integrated team of architects, interior designers, landscape architects, urban planners and engineers. In leading TAG, he will provide management and technological direction in design, construction, energy and facility management and operations. A former member of HOK's Chicago office, Lumsden arrives at Forum Studio after serving as a Senior Project Manager, where he oversaw all phases of planning, design and construction for a variety of project types. Most recently, Lumsden served as Project Director for the renovation and modernization of ComEd Headquarters and Call Center in Oak Brook Terrace. He also oversaw the construction phase for the Park Summit apartment towerin Minneapolis, Minnesota, and served as Project Director on several mission-critical data centers. Locally, he worked as Senior Project Manager on the Health Sciences Center at the College of DuPage. Prior to HOK, Lumsden served as the Chicago Office Director at PSA Dewberry, Associate Director of Architecture at VOA Associates and as Deputy Communications Officer for First Naval Construction Division, United States Navy. Lumsden will be based in Forum Studio's Chicago office.
