Scott Delsing #33Scott Delsing: Iowa City, IAScott Delsing born on February 26, 1963 in Iowa City, IA and still makes his home there with his wife Stacey, 2 boys 8 yr. old Danan, 4 yr. old Joshua, and a 3 yr. old black lab Sadie.Scott graduated from City High School and attended the University of Iowa for 2 years.He is 5' 10" tall, with brown hair and blue eyes and loves Mexican food.A big influence to Scott in life and off the track is his dad, but on the track he's influenced by Scott Walker of Walker Racing.Scott's jobs as a teenager were working in Hy-Vee, pumping gas at Towncrest DX Service Station, and whatever his Dad told him to do.The Communications Engineering Company now employs him as the Southern Region Service Manager.Scott wishes he was more patient and had started his racing career earlier in life.Scott just started racing a year ago as a hobby stock racer at Hawkeye Downs and proceeded to crash the very first night out.Scott's hobbies include, racing; there isn't time for anything else.Scott enjoys listening to Def Leppard, Anne Lennox, Matchbox 20 and Live.You can see Scott race at Hawkeye Downs, #33, Late Model.A picture of the teamScott owns the car and is helped by a loyal and hard working crew consisting of his brother Troy Delsing, Jeff Bohnsack, Ryan Woythaler, and Todd Vanhoosier.Scott says that without them, and others it would be tough putting the car on the track each week.Thanks Team!
