Satish Sethi, Emirates' new Bangladesh Manager, hopes to take the airline forward in Bangladesh in the days ahead increasing the market share, developing new market segments and upgrading products.
Sethi, addressing his first press conference since taking over his assignment here, said he would use Emirates' reputation to take the airline even further forward, while ensuring it remain committed to providing Bangladeshi passengers with unsurpassed levels of service for. Introducing himself to the print and electronic media, Sethi said, "My association with aviation dates back 14 years, nine of which have been with Emirates. Sethi also took the opportunity to announce a special weekend fare for passengers travelling to Dubai, which is effective until 31st December 2010. Passengers are to travel from Dhaka on Thursdays and Fridays and return on Saturdays and Sundays. He noted that there had been a rise in traffic to US and Canada from Bangladesh.
