According to WBZ meteorologist Sarah Wroblewski, temperatures only reached the upper teens in southwestern New Hampshire and northern and western Massachusetts. Elsewhere in the Mass., temperatures crept up into the low to mid 20s.
The winds started to pick up during the afternoon hours, which made the wind chill values drop as low as the teens and single digits, Wroblewski said.
Another cold night is expected Sunday night as a shot of cold air presses southward.
