She is currently Director of Communications and PR at UK Skills, 'a not-for-profit organisation which champions skills and learning for work through competitions and awards'.
In addition to raising the profile of UK Skills, she has been tasked with leading the communications for the 41st WorldSkills competition, to be hosted by London in 2011.
Prior to UK Skills
Sarah spent 5 years with RNID, the national charity changing the world for the UK's 9 million deaf and hard of hearing people.
Most recently as Deputy Executive Director of Communications, she managed key corporate communications and development of organisational communication strategies with a team of 140 staff and a budget of £7million.
As Head of Marketing she created a new marketing service for RNID and made considerable savings for the organisation through consolidation of print management.
Previously she was Head of Global Identity at Plan International where she spent two years delivering and reviewing a new global brand across 60 countries.
