I'm inspired by the possibilities that come to life when people collaborate across industries and continents.
I believe our global health leaders don't need to pursue any one career path, but they do need to master this art of collaboration, which is why I'm honored to work towards this goal every day at GHC
Prior to joining the GHC staff as Program Associate, Sarah spent two years working for GlobeMed, a nonprofit that harnesses the passion and resources of college students to improve health around the world.
In this role she
trained and supported student leaders all over the country, coordinated an annual leadership conference, and spearheaded an initiative to broaden the diversity of the global health workforce by expanding GlobeMed
chapters to minority-serving institutions.
Sarah graduated from Rhodes College with a degree in Psychology, where she also served on the founding executive board of the GlobeMed at Rhodes College chapter.
spent time abroad in Switzerland, Turkey, and Nicaragua studying global health, Kurdish identity politics, and working on water filtration projects, respectively.
is also passionate about the power of design in social change, and has volunteered her
skills for Article 25, a health advocacy movement which aims to build momentum around the right to health in the post-Millenium Development Goals conversation.
