Sandra Mead, executive vice president of the El Paso Association of Builders, said the organization's members are well aware of the city's building regulations and they adhere to them.
"As an industry, I think we should be proud of what our members are doing," she
said, adding that the association is constantly working with the city's Development Services Department to address a variety of issues.
East Side city Rep.Presi Ortega believes a small minority of developers are behind the problem, but he
urges anyone who witnesses illegal dumping to take action.
