Sandy Gottesman made the decision to make Austin his home in 1969 when he enrolled as a freshman at the University of Texas.
Thirty plus years later, true to his
early decision, he
continues to reside in Austin.
Following graduation from the University in 1973, Sandy joined The Trammell Crow Company as a leasing agent rising rapidly through its ranks and ultimately serving as its Regional President.
Under Sandy's leadership TCC was the leading force in Austin's commercial real estate sector.
After 20 years with the Trammell Crow Company, Sandy moved in a new direction forming The Gottesman Company in 1993.
With a well recognized expertise in the industrial, office, retail, and land development sectors the Gottesman Company
continued to play a significant role in Austin's commercial real estate marketplace, developing approximately 3,000,000 square feet of space from 1993 until the merger in 2007.
Our corporate vision and culture are simple...attract and retain good people with strong character and abundant talent, then help them work together to do something great.
Over a thirty year period Sandy
organizations have made an indelible mark on Austin.
He has not only been keenly involved in several premier development projects that shape the City, he also has taken a leadership role in the restoration of historic downtown buildings, innovative reuse in Austin's warehouse/entertainment district, and in creating environmentally sensitive new space for Austin's growing economy.
