Presenting the award to Pete was Beaches Watch President Sandy Golding. The Beaches Watch Group, an association of community activists led by Chairwoman Sandy Golding, formed in February after a developer proposed a Folio Weekly - 5/4/04: Bouquets to Jacksonville Beach resident Sandy Golding and Beaches Watch for fighting to keep skyscaper condos in check. Golding, along with the other members of the political group Beaches Watch, has initiated a campaign to put a height limit referendum on teh Jacksonville Beach ballot in November, limiting buildings to 35 feet.
