"Business travel is starting to come back," said Sam Stanovich, chairman of the tourism committee for the Naperville Development Partnership and Convention and Visitors and Bureau.He

"Expansion of the hotels and conference space will be good for Naperville," Stanovich
said another benefit of having additional meeting space is that it will generate guest overflow to the other hotels in town.
"When this does happen, the priority will be to direct the guests to Naperville's other hotels," he
said the added hotel and meeting space has encouraged local hotel operators to improve safety and security procedures. He said his committee has been working in partnership with the Naperville Police Department to implement the Safe Hotel program.Stanovich's

will be the first hotel in the city to go through the program. Stanovich
said the program is designed to teach hotel staff members how to assess hotel property security and loss prevention.It's also meant to educate employees to work more closely with the Police Department.
