Dizon finished medicine at Manila Central University in 1988.
After training at the Shaolin Hung Fut Kung Fu School of Martial Arts on acupuncture and herbs from 1987 to 1992, he trained in Eden Valley Institute, a lay missionary training center in 1996 and became a lifestyle counselor for alternative medicine at Eden Valley Lifestyle Center in Colorado, USA.
Because of the efforts of the Department of Health which created the Philippine Institute for Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC), alternative medicine is now slowly getting recognition it deserves.It is now being hailed as a new way to improve the quality and delivery of health care to Filipinos.
A free "Health Awareness Symposium" will be conducted by Dr. Dizon here in Bacolod on March 15, Saturday 3:00 pm at Hervias Heritage Square.
He will talk on what natural healing can do in terms of patient care, economy and how to incorporate a natural healing lifestyle into one's everyday routine.

With Dr. Samuel Dizon's supervision, he lost seven pounds in five days by going on a liquid diet, undergoing the coffee enemas and electrotherapy, Filipino-style massages to raise his energy and drinking kelp capsules for the thyroid.
Now it is evolving into a health resort in collaboration with Dr. Dizon, medical director of the Institute for Natural Healing in Olongapo.
Dizon learned Traditional Chinese Medicine while studying Shaolin kung fu. In the alternative medicine, he underwent lifestyle disease management training in Colorado and California.
Combining his background in Chinese herbal medicine which delivers fast results and the American discipline of nutrition, cleansing and mega vitamins, Dizon has produced miraculous results including saving patients in the worst-case scenario.
Dizon cites that there are cheaper and natural ways to treat kidney failure instead of dialysis or transplant.
"Look for other organs to do the work of excretion like the skin. Patients can sweat out in sauna suit or cellophane wrap with charcoal or mud pack. The patient can treat himself under close medical supervision," he says.
Dizon's program works like a spa but instead of luxurious spa products, the applications are charcoal, herbs and enema for colon cleansing.

Dizon cites naturopath Bernard Jensen, progenitor of the natural enemas that most problems start in the large intestine when toxins have piled up.
