In 2003, Sami joined Atos Origin followed by Shoaibi Group in Saudi Arabia as Vice President of its Telecom Sector, where he was responsible for the group's business in the telecommunications field.
In 2004, Sami joined the A.A. Turki Group of Companies (ATCO) Group as Senior Advisor to oversee its telecommunications businesses and projects.
Sami holds a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and has attended the Finance for Senior Executives program at Harvard Business School back in 2000.
