is a U.S.-trained civil engineer, living in Tengbeh Town, Freetown.He is the Managing Director and CEO of Consulting Engineers, providing primarily professional services relating to civil engineering, highways, transportation and traffic engineering.He received his B.S.C. E. degree (1965) from Howard University, Washington D.C..He
received both his
M.S.E (Engineering, 1966) degree and his
M.R.P. (Regional Planning 1969) degree from the University of Michigan
, Ann Arbor, Michigan.In 1972/3 he was a SPURS Fellow at M.I.T., Cambridge, Massachusetts.He is a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) with the Board of Engineers, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.He is also a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with the Professional Engineers Registration Council, Republic of Sierra Leone.
In the last two years, he
has become involved in local politics.In March 2000 he was appointed to serve as Councilor in the York Rural District Council, representing the Kent Village Area; as well as in the Rural Area Council comprising the York, Mountain, Waterloo and Koya District Councils.He also serves as the Chairman of the York District Council as well as the Rural Area Council.
Each position is independent of the other.He
has also been appointed a Justice
