Named to Lead Development for Baylor Medical Center
at Garland(DALLAS, July 28, 2004) - Baylor Health Care System welcomes Sallie S. Hazelrigg to lead development efforts at Baylor Medical Center at Garland.She
will be responsible for charitable fund-raising efforts benefiting the facility, which is undergoing an expansion to keep up with anticipated growth in the area. Hazelrigg joins Baylor after serving as corporate director of major gifts and planned giving at Methodist Healthcare Foundation in Memphis, Tenn.Her development career has included positions as vice president of field services for the American Heart Association in Memphis; program director for Nashville Interfaith Volunteer Respite Caregivers, Inc., Nashville, Tenn; assistant station manager for the American Red Cross in Fort Campbell, Ky.; regional director of the American Heart Association, Waco, Texas; and caseworker and personnel officer for the Heart of Texas Mental Health Mental Retardation Center, Waco. Experience in health care development will make Hazelrigg a valuable asset for Baylor, said Stanley D. Tatum, president, Baylor Medical Center at Garland.
