Mr. Dasmal began his career at the Dubai Development and Investment Authority (DDIA) from its inception and was charged with overseeing all investment activities for the organization.
During this time, Salem bin Dasmal was responsible for overseeing the planning of several economic zones for healthcare, manufacturing, mixed-use and leisure and entertainment.

Salem Bin Dasmal graduated from Northrop University with a Degree in Aerospace Engineering, as well as Masters degrees in Public Administration and Accounting from the University of Southern California.
