Head of Stakeholder and Donor Relations - iM4TB Dr Sacha Sidjanski Dr. Sacha Sidjanski worked on infectious diseases at the Swiss Tropical Institute (CH) and at New York University (NYU), followed by a post-doctoral work at SUNY (State University of New York) and at the Pasteur Institute; he then joined the World Health Organization (WHO) at the end of 1999 as a Scientific Officer. Since June 2006, he has worked as Project Manager/External Relations at the School of Life Sciences at the EPFL which is the home of four institutes -the Brain & Mind Institute, Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research, Institute of Bioengineering and the Global Health Institute. The School of Life Sciences has more than a thousand collaborators. Between 2006 and 2010, he also collaborated with the Mintaka Foundation -Finding simple solutions for developing countries using advanced technology- and then with the Esperanza Medicines Foundation -a foundation for research and development of affordable HIV medicines in developing countries- where he was the Head of Funders Relations.

He obtained his Ph.D. at New York University (NYU) and was awarded the Young Investigator Award from the 'American Society of Tropical and Hygiene' for his research project on malaria.
