"I do believe this is the first time the DeFeo house, circa 1974 has ever been presented accurately on the screen," said Katzenbach."The original 'Amityville Horror' presented it's version, Michael Bay's 2005 remake presented another, and for the first time, we're actually going to show an audience what the house really looked like."

LAS VEGAS, NV - MAY 10 - Shattered Hopes: The True Story of the Amityville Murders, a documentary being independently produced by Ryan Katzenbach's KatcoMedia is on schedule to complete principal photography by June 30, 2006.
In addition, www.shattered-hopes.com launched a new Flash based website this week, which Katco will continue to update as production continues.
Katco expects to complete interviews by the middle of June, while completing re-enactment sequences by June 30, 2006.
The documentary, which is the first such film produced by KatcoMedia and Katzenbach, will revist what Katzenbach calls "life as a DeFeo."
