Capt. Ryan Derouin, fire control officer for the 1st Battalion of the 505th,
said Wednesday the operation targeted two people believed to be involved in the police station attack - a young male who allegedly led a team of shooters during the attack and a radical Islamic Imam from Fallujah.
"The Imam is known to be anti-coalition and an Islamic extremist," Derouin
Neither target was found during the raids, but soldiers discovered a cache of weapons and anti-coalition documents at the mosque.One Iraqi was detained at the mosque and will be questioned about the police station attack, Derouin
