SIN Customs Artist - Ryan Curtis
Drawing cars has always been a passion for Ryan and from an early age he decided cars would be his life, and traded in the good ol' bat and ball for Hot Wheels cars. Not growing up in a family obsessed with cars, Ryan turned to his own devices and began drawing cars, that passion has developed into an art lifestyle for Ryan today.
Ryan founded SIN Customs after spending 15 years as an Graphic Designer and Art Director within the print and advertising industry, when Ryan felt that it was time for a change. Taking his childhood passion for custom automobiles, he stared automotiveSIN Customs, based on the online magazine automotiveSIN.com he published in his spare time. AutomotiveSIN magazine is now know as SIN Magazine and continues as part of the SIN Customs brand, and if you have a chance you can still find Ryan wandering shows taking pictures and shooting features when time permits.
As any automotive enthusiast Ryan has a garage full of ongoing projects, which currently included a 1962 Studebaker Lark that are being built for his wife, a 1970 Ford F-100 just waiting for its turn on his to do list, and his long time truck a 1995 Chevy S10. With all these on-going projects you can be assured that when Ryan is not drawing cars he is working on them.

Sweet Trucks We Hope Get built By Patrick McCarthy, Photography by Sin Customs, Illustration by Ryan Curtis

Automotive art was always an outlet for Arizona resident Ryan Curtis. Growing up, he could be found playing with Hot Wheels while other kids were playing sports, and this soon led him to put pen to paper and begin drawing custom cars and trucks of all shapes and sizes. Following his growing passion for art, he studied graphic design in college and later found a job as a designer and art director in the print industry. Most people would be satisfied at this point, given that Ryan had a stable job doing what he enjoyed, and he followed this career path for 15 years. However, he eventually decided it was time for a change and time to escape the corporate grind to start his own business. Fueled by his childhood passion for custom vehicles, he started the design studio AutomotiveSIN Customs, which was later shortened to simply SIN Customs. Over the years, SIN Customs has produced everything from business cards to posters and wall art to vehicle renderings. Ryan even runs the online publication SIN Magazine, shooting photos for feature articles and show coverage in his spare time. Nevertheless, custom automotive renderings are still one of his favorite projects to work on, and it shows in his work. To see more of Ryan's designs, check out SINcustoms.com or follow him on Facebook at facebook.com/SINcustoms.
